Matthew Dwain Dickerson

Matthew Dwain Dickerson, 23, passed away Thursday, August 23, in Wichita Falls.

Services were held Tuesday at Liberty Baptist Church with Rev. Chris Knowles and Rev. Rick Ross officiating. Interment followed at Crestview Memorial Park.

Mr. Dickerson was born Oct. 15, 1983, in Wichita Falls to Dwain and Paula Dickerson.

He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church, and a 2002 graduate of Wichita Falls High School. He and his wife, Jenna were married November 8, 2003, in Wichita Falls. Roller hockey was his hobby.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Gevin Matthew; his mother, Paula of Wichita Falls; his father Dwain and his wife Lisa of Iowa Park; a brother, Michael of Wichita Falls; a sister, Tori Costello of Iowa Park; grandparents, Ann Howard and Dwain and Rosemary Dickerson, all of Wichita Falls; and great-grandparents, Bayless and Ruth DeMoss.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, James Howard.

The family suggest in lieu of flowers, donations be made to an account at Wells Fargo Bank established for his son, Gevin Dickerson.
