Wilbert Jacob Kasper
1923 - 2007

Wilbert Jacob Kasper, 84, died Thursday, August 23, in Wichita Falls.

Services were held Saturday, August 25, at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church with Pastor Dale Snyder officiating. Interment followed at Crestview Memorial Park.

Mr. Kasper was born January 27, 1923, in George West, to the late Samuel Albert and Clara Louise (Kramer) Kasper. He and Eleanor Marie Lytle were married May 3, 1946. He served in the United States Air Corps during World War II, and in the United States Army during Korea. He was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church as well as the CCC¹s and the Red River Optimist Club. In 1976, after 29 years as a postal carrier and supervisor, he retired from the United States Post Office. He was an avid bird watcher, and enjoyed traveling.

He was preceded in death by three brothers.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Timothy Charles of Iowa Park, Michael Allen and R. Jay, both of Wich
