Kathleen Shook

FREDERICK – Kathleen (Wood) Shook, age 71, passed away in Frederick, OK on Wednesday, August 25, 2010. The memorial service was held on Monday, August 30, 2010 at 11AM at the Dutton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dennis Neal, Faith Baptist Church, officiating. Services were under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home of Iowa Park, TX.

Mrs. Shook was born on May 5, 1939 to George and Marion (Ford) Wood in Holliday, TX. She married Raymond Chester Shook on November 21, 1956 in Iowa Park, TX.

Her parents, husband, grandson, Steffon Mahaffey, granddaughter, Mary Ann Shook, two sisters, Marion Gregg and Lou Campbell, and brother, George Wood, preceded her in death.

Kathleen is survived by daughters; Rhonda Baumer and her husband, Bobby, of Iowa Park, TX, and Charlotte Shawver and her husband, Mack, of Rule, TX; sons, Raymond “Buddy” Shook and his wife, Lori, of Frederick, OK, and Charles “Chuck” Shook of Electra, TX; 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; sisters, Bettie Bradberry, Susie Beisch and Anna Dowell, all of Iowa Park, TX and Carolyn Smith of Canton, GA; and brothers, John Wood and Lloyd Wood, both of Wichita Falls, TX.
