Georgia M. Logan, 85, passed away Thursday, August 21, in Wichita Falls. Funeral services were held Tuesday at First Baptist Church of Burkburnett with Rev. Bill Liggett, officiating. Interment followed in Burkburnett Cemetery.

Mrs. Logan was born October 30, 1922, in Sunset, to the late Carl and Jessie (Richardson) Willett. She and Joseph Logan were married June 21, 1945. He preceded her in death in 1980. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church of Burkburnett, the VFW, Daughters of the Nile, the Burkburnett Garden Club, and was past president of the VFW Women’s Auxiliary. Her favorite hobbies were shopping and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her two brothers, Jennings Willett and Buck Willett.

Survivors include three children, Candy Moser of Iowa Park, Rocky of Burkburnett, and Terry Foster of Wichita Falls; a sister, June Morgan of Burkburnett; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

The family suggest memorials be made to Hospice of Wichita Falls; Texoma Christian Care Center Alzheimer’s, or the charity of your choice.
