1929 - 2010

Harold W. Swanson, 80,died Tuesday, Sept. 7, in Iowa Park.

Services will be 10 a.m. Friday, at Highland Cemetery Pavilion with Rev. Earl Correll officiating.

Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home.

Harold was born October 20, 1929, in Walters, OK., to Alton and Ina Jackson Swanson. He and Audrey Brown were married Feb. 12, 1949, in Temple, OK. She preceded him in death. He was a longtime resident of Iowa Park and was a retired assistant manager for Parker Food Stores and A&P Food Stores. He was a Baptist.

His father and mother also preceded him in death.

Survivors include his children, Russell of Gause, Davey of Iowa Park, Mary Means of Woodlands, Delma Ensey of Iowa Park, Steve Swanson of Wichita Falls, and Jason Swanson of Fort Worth; two sisters, Norma Wren of Stanton and Jo Ann Lane of Odessa; a brother, Bobby of Odessa; several grandchildren; and great grandchildren.
