Barbara Brasket, 67, of Wichita Falls, died Thursday, Sept. 4.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Sept. 6, in the chapel of Owens and Brumley Funeral Home with Rev. Linda Marcum, pastor of Beverly Drive United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment was held in Crestview memorial park.

Mrs. Brasket was the daughter of the late Lee Long and Dorothy Parks, born Jan. 5, 1941, in Wichita Falls. She was a homemaker most of her life and enjoyed visiting local churches. She also enjoyed painting, sewing, quilting, and gardening.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ronald D.; a son, Darrell Daniel; and her father, Louis A. Parks.

Survivors include her daughter, Candy Byrne of Iowa Park; four sons, Ronnie, Randall, and Kevin, all of Wichita Falls, and David of Bryson; a brother, Louis A. Parks, Jr.; two sisters, Loneta McGuire of Wichita Falls, and Virginia Bowe of Stevensville, MT.; and 12 grandchildren.
