Cecil Dale Turner

Cecil Dale Turner, 74, of Iowa Park and former Knox City resident, passed away Saturday, Sept. 8, in Wichita Falls.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at First Baptist Church in Knox City with Elders Larry Webb, Travis Brown, and Hugh Montgomery officiating.
Mr. Turner was born Nov. 22, 1937, in Kermit, to William and Kathleen (Jackson) Turner. He and Janice LaRue Bingham were married Oct. 5, 1957. He was an active member of the Primitive Baptist Church and ordained as a deacon in 1992.
He served eight years in the United States Air Force as an aircraft sheet metal repairman and 22 years in civil service retiring at Sheppard Air Force Base. After retirement, he continued his trade in aircraft mechanics for 12 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother.
The family suggest memorials be made to Primitive Baptist Church in Rule or Rathgeber Hospitality House, 1615 12th St., Wichita Falls, Tx. 76301.
Survivors include his wife; three children, Dale Turner, Jr., of Knox City, Marsha Turner Durham of Lampasas, and Karla Turner New of Jarrell; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
