Kennie L. Jones
1930 - 2007
Kennie L. Jones, 77, died Friday, Sept. 7, in Wichita Falls.

Services were held Monday at First United Methodist Church with Rev. John Kay, pastor, officiating. Burial was held in Highland Cemetery.

Mr. Jones was born July 25, 1930, in Persia, Iowa, to the late Cecil and Jenny Hall Jones. He and Millicent Smith were married March 1, 1956, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He served in the United States Marines during the Korean War, He was a member of First United Methodist Church, and a charter member of the Iowa Park

MuleSkinners. He was also a member of the VFW, and the American Legion in Iowa. He retired in 1992 as Quality Control Manager for Cryovac and worked part-time for Patterson Motors picking up and delivering vehicles.

Survivors include his wife, Millicent of Iowa Park; a son, Tom of San Antonio; three daughters, Lisa Stewart of Archer City, Becky Robinson of Waukon, Iowa, and Sherrie Lewey; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
