Curtis H. "Jack" Womack, Sr.
1928 - 2007
Curtis H. “Jack” Womack, Sr., 78, of Iowa Park passed away Saturday, Sept. 8.

Graveside services were held Monday at Electra Memorial Park with Dean Nelson officiating, under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home.

Mr. Womack was born November, 7, 1928, in Crowville, LA., to Sam and Vera Womack. He was a longtime resident of this area and was a member of the Baptist Church. He retired from the U.S. Air Force as a Master Sergeant in 1968, after 23 years of service. He was later employed as a security officer with the Mundy Company. He and Billie Nelson were married in 1950.

Survivors include his wife of Iowa Park; two daughters, Linda Jeter of Iowa Park, Jackie Hicks of Mountain Park, OK.; two sons, Curt of Archer City and Larry of Joshua; three sisters, Laynetta Bradley of Crowville, LA., Eveline Chapman of Winnsboro, LA., and Bobbie Womack of Florida; a brother, Marvin of Crowville, LA.; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

His grandchildren served as pallbearers.

The family suggest memorials be made to The American Diabetes Association, PO Box 11454, Alexandria, VA., 22312.
