Billie Jean Stafford Campbell, 79, passed away Saturday, Sept. 10, in Fort Worth.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 15, at Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home Chapel with Roger Deerinwater officiating. Interment will follow in Crestview Memorial Park.
Billie Jean was born Aug. 30, 1932, in Rochester, to the late Obie and George (Hayes) Stafford. She and Charles “Church” Campbell were married Feb. 1, 1949, in Weinert. He preceded her in death in 2009. She lived in Wichita Falls for over 30 years after living abroad in Brazil, Singapore and the Canary Islands. She operated a booth at the Wichita Falls Flea Market for 26 years, retiring in 2010.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Ricky in 1997.
Survivors include her daughter, Jeanne Dobbs of Fort Worth; a son, Larry of Ada, OK.; a brother, Donald Stafford of Great Falls, Montana; two sisters, Shirley Bond and Linda Posey, both of Iowa Park; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
