Charlotte Hazel
(Shoemaker) Bradford

Charlotte Hazel (Shoemaker) Bradford, 81, of Iowa Park passed away Saturday, September 11, 2010. Cremation services were arranged with Falls Funeral Home and Cremation Center. Memorial Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, September 18, 2010 at First Baptist Church of Iowa Park, 300 N Yosemite. The family will be accepting visitors and having lunch at the Iowa Park Optimist Club following the services on Saturday.

Hazel was born to Clyde and Grace Shoemaker in Colorado City. She married Bobby Dean Bradford on January 20, 1949. They traveled the country following jobs for Bobby. Hazel was a supportive wife and mother. She and Bobby were relied upon heavily by their families. They opened their home to multiple family members over the years. She was a dedicated supporter of Iowa Park football long after her children were grown. She worked many years at the Wichita County Tax Assessors Office before retiring due to poor health. She was loved and admired by many despite her straightforward attitude and unique sense of humor.

Survivors include her son, Robert Bradford, his wife Kim of Burkburnett; daughter, Deborrah Miller of Iowa Park; grandchildren, Bobbi Miller, Brad Reynolds, Dean Bradford, Patti Whitford, and Theresa Wieting; great-grandchildren Bryan Bowles, Colby and Zoie Whitford, Brady Smith, Candice, and Juliana; brothers Ronnie Shoemaker of Hamlin, Johnny Shoemaker of Conroe; sisters Lona Johnson of Abilene, Mary Moore of Artesia, NM., Clydine Lassiter of South Carolina, and Betty Steele of Clyde, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Bobby Dean Bradford.

Family request memorials to American Hospice 4210 Kell Wichita Falls, Tx. 76309.
