Martha Kay Seidlitz

Martha Kay Seidlitz, 95, longtime resident of Grand Prairie, died at the VIP Living Center in Irving, Monday, Sept. 16.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, at Bean Massey Burge Funeral Home, 2951 Belt Line Rd., Grand Prairie, with pastor, Ed Miller, of Inglewood Baptist Church of Grand Prairie, officiating.

Burial will be at Highland Cemetery at 3 p.m., Saturday in Iowa Park.

Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday, at the Funeral Home.

Ms. Seidlitz was born Dec. 5, 1917 in Iowa Park, to Julius Albert Seidlitz and Annie Marie Kuehn Seidlitz. After 24 years of service in the administrative department with Keebler Company, now Kelloggs Company, she retired. She then became a dormitory “mom” at Blinn College in Brenham. She enjoyed volunteer work in different areas of the community. She was a past member of American Business Women’s Association, the Senior Citizens Center of Grand Prairie, AARP, The Golden Age club of Grand Prairie, and Englewood Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Curtis Seidlits; and sisters, Laura Seidlitz, Judy Humphrey, Clara Vaughn, and Lillie Chappell.

She is survived by nieces and nephews and many grand and great- grand-nieces and nephews.

The family suggest memorials be made to American Heart Association.
