Monetta June (Walls) Kingcade, 88, passed away Saturday, Sept. 15, in Wichita Falls.

Funeral Services were held Tuesday at Faith Baptist Church. Graveside services followed at Highland Cemetery under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home.

Monetta was born June 1, 1924 in Jefferson County, OK., to Oliver Perry and Maggie Lee (Melton) Walls. She married Truman Kingcade on Dec. 17, 1944 in Henrietta. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church, where she was very active.

She worked for several years in the cafeteria in the Valley View School District, but spent the majority of her life as a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one daughter, Carolyn Ashford; one granddaughter, Lisa; and two great grandchildren, Olivia and Dustin.

Survivors include three daughters, Linda Walker, Melba Greene, and Janet Wood, all of Iowa Park; two sons, Dan Kingcade of Wichita Falls and Mike Kingcade of Iowa Park; a sister, Betty Roberts of Forney; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
