Devin Wayne Edwards, 19, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 19, in Duncan, OK
.
Funeral service were held Tuesday, at the Ray of Hope Church, with Bro. Doyle Patrick and Bro. Dow Pannell officiating.

Devin was born Aug. 12, 1993 in Duncan to Scott and Torina (Foster) Edwards. He enjoyed hunting, going mudding, riding a three wheeler, riding go-karts, and paintball, and fishing.

He graduated Comanche High School in 2012. He also attended Red River Area Vo-Tech. Before attending Comanche School, he attended school in Iowa Park. He attended elementary and middle school in Duncan.

He participated in football, soccer, track, where he threw the discus and the shot putt, and was an accomplished weight lifter, winning a regional championship in his weight division.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Gaynelle Foster.

Devin is survived by his father, Scott Edwards of Comanche; his mother, Torina (Foster) Roberts of Iowa Park; his grandparents, Bobby and Marilynn Edwards of Comanche and Bill Foster of Duncan; two sisters: Kaitlin Roberts and Jessica Roberts, both of Iowa Park; and his step-father: Mark Roberts of Iowa Park.
