Allene C. Sigafus

Allene C. Hutchinson Sigafus, age 82, longtime Iowa Park resident, died Monday, Sept. 27, in Iowa Park.

Funeral services were held Wednesday at Dutton Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Highland Cemetery.

Mrs. Sigafus was born March 10, 1928 in Waurika, OK. She and Delbert Sigafus were married May 4, 1948 in Lawton, OK. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church of Iowa Park, where she taught Sunday school for 32 years and was active in fund raisers for the church. She was also active in Meals on Wheels.

Her parents; and a son, Delbert, Jr. preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband, Delbert of Iowa Park; children, Louise Cokendolpher of Charlie; James Earl Sigafus of Wichita Falls; Ruth Jannette Christopher of College Station; Vici Tarr of Iowa Park; Brenda Battista of Hull, Iowa; three sisters, Betty Stanley and Jewell Perry both of Duncan, OK. Joyce Hornbeck of Lone Grove, OK.; a brother, David Dean Hutchinson of Port Arthur; 13 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.
