Ralph Amos
1938 - 2011

Ralph Amos, 72, of Littleton, CO., formerly of Wichita Falls, passed away Friday, Sept. 2, at home.

A memorial service was held in Denver, CO., Sept. 9, at the Olinger Chapel Hill Mortuary.

The family plans to receive friends and family with a memorial service and visitation during the Thanksgiving holidays, date and time will be announced.

Ralph was born in Wichita Falls Nov. 9, 1938 and graduated from Wichita Falls Senior High and Midwestern State University. Following college he served in the Army as Second Lieutenant. He was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Wichita Falls. In 1962 he married Yvette Burkelow and resided in Dallas until he moved to the Denver area as an insurance underwriter, where he resided until his death.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. T.E. Amos.

Survivors include three children, Randy Amos, Lori Laskowski, and Carey Glen, all of Denver; five siblings, Wanda Frezon of Chattanooga, OK., Billie Spitzack of Fort Worth, Pat Duerson of Iowa Park, T.E. Amos of Burkburnett, and Linda Amos of Wichita Falls; and seven grandchildren.
