1939 - 2007

Betty Erlene (Boren) Stone, 67, passed away Friday, Sept. 28.

Mrs. Stone was born Nov. 23,1939, in Boise City, OK., and was raised in Iowa Park.

She had worked for the Boy’s Club in Wichita Falls, and as a dispatcher for the Graham Police Department. She traveled from the west coast to the east coast and spent four years in Japan.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl Isom and Betty Oleta Boren; and a son, Edmund Eugene Baye.

Survivors include two daughters, Toni Marie Gusko of Goodyear, AZ., and Sandra Joanne Riley of Litchfield Park, AZ.; a brother, Tommy Lee Boren of Iowa Park; two sisters, Marjorie Ann Bilberry of Graham, and Sandra Kay Boren of Buckeye, AZ.; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to your local hospice.
