Wayne White
1943 - 2007

Wayne White, 64, of Archer City passed away Wednesday, Oct. 3, as a result from injuries of an automobile accident in Archer County on September 20.

Services were held Saturday at Aulds Funeral Home with Roger Deerinwater, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating. Interment followed at in the Archer City Cemetery.

Mr. White was born July 3, 1943, in Wichita Falls to Kenneth Henry and Marcella Ailene Morris White. He was a veteran of the United States Marines, who served during the Vietnam War and was discharged as a Corporal. While in the Marines, he received the National Defense Service Medal, Combat Action Ribbon, Meritorious Mast, Vietnam Service Medal with two stars, Vietnam Campaign Medal and the Rifle Marksman Badge.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Juanita White Nichols on Sept. 20, 2007.

Survivors include his parents of Archer City; two brothers, Butch of Wichita Falls, and J.W. of Iowa Park; and a sister, Carolyn Schroeder of Archer City.
