Vanus DeArmon, 95, formerly of Bellmead, died Oct. 6, in Iowa Park.
Funeral services were held at Saturday in the chapel of Bellmead Funeral Home, with Dr. Larry Gilliam, son-in-law, officiating. Interment followed at Rosemound Cemetery in Waco, under the direction of Bellmead Funeral Home.
Vanus was born in Richland, to Thomas C. and Hannah M. McGaugh on Dec. 9, 1914. She graduated from Richland High School. She was a resident of Bellmead for 63 years, before moving.
Her husband, Dommie “Dee” DeArmon preceded her in death in 1966.
Survivors include three daughters, Glenda of Irving, Kay Jennings of Wichita Falls, and Yeada Gunter of Iowa Park; a brother, Joe McGaugh of Corsicana; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
