Martha Stewart, 74, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 29, in Iowa Park.
Funeral Services were held Saturday, at Dutton Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Bruce Stewart, nephew, officiating.
Graveside Services followed at Highland Cemetery.
Ms. Stewart was born June 7, 1936, in Wichita Falls to John Robert and Belle (Harmon) Stewart. She was the first of 14 children to graduate from high school, graduating from Valley View Community Schools in 1955. She was also the first of 14 to graduate from college, earning an Associate’s Degree from Vernon Regional Junior College. She worked for White’s Auto Stores until they closed, and then worked for Sprague Electric until they closed. She enjoyed spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, J.R. Stewart; and two sisters, Patsy Lee and Marie Stewart.
Survivors include three brothers, Billy Don Stewart, James Allen “Buster” Stewart, and R.A. Stewart, all of Iowa Park; and seven sisters, Dorothy Stout of Wichita Falls, Betty Parkhill of Grady, OK, Sue Coleman of Las Cruces, NM, Judy Williams of Valley View, Georgia Moore, Mickey Lewis, and Mary Stewart, all of Iowa Park.
