Barbara Neff
1938 - 2015

Barbara Neff, 76, of Electra, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 7, in Wichita Falls.

Services were held Saturday at the First Baptist Church of Electra with Joe Ainsworth, Interim Pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating. Interment followed in Electra Memorial Park under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Electra.

Barbara was born Oct. 31, 1938, in Chickasha, OK., to the late Fred Leon Huffstutler and Carlena Willemina Moeller Huffstutler. She graduated from Electra High School and attended Midwestern State University. She and Danny Ronald Neff were married May 25, 1956, in Electra. She was an artist who owned Strawberry Patch which was opened in 1975 and closed in 2004. She was also a member of National Painters Association and taught classes at National Conventions in Phoenix, Arizona, Washington D.C., Nashville and Chicago. She attended conventions for about twelve years. She was a member of the Electra Arts & Crafts Club and taught continuing education at Vernon Regional College for several years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Electra where she taught Sunday School for nearly every age group. She was active in Little League, Boy Scouts and was a member of the Band Booster Club.

She was preceded in death by a half-brother, F.R. Huffstutler.

Survivors include her husband, Danny Neff of Electra; one son, Danny Neff of Iowa Park; three brothers, Robert Huffstutler and Larry Huffstutler, both of Electra, and Arden Huffstutler of Keller; one sister, Loma James of Brownwood; a half-sister, Toka Dean Huffstutler of Arkansas; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be made to First Baptist Church, 406 West Garrison, Electra, Texas 76360.
