Jimmy Moss

Jimmy Moss, 76, of Archer County passed away Tuesday, in a Wichita Falls hospital.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. today at Aulds Funeral Home with Jack Stevens of Kamay officiating. Interment will follow in the Megargel Cemetery.
Mr. Moss was born Sept. 6, 1931, in Holliday, to Sam J. and Bea Miller Moss. He graduated Megargel High School. He and Beth Gilmore were married Sept. 7, 1952, in Megargel. He served 31 years as a fireman with the Wichita Falls Fire Department, and retired in 1987 as a lieutenant. He also served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War, where he received five battle stars. He was a resident from 1959 until 1988, when he moved to his farm in Archer County. He was a member of Megargel Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of Archer County; two sons, Wayne of Holliday, and Ricky of Iowa Park; a daughter, Sondra Stumbaugh of Iowa Park; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
