Jimmy Ray Stansbury Sr.

Jimmy Ray Stansbury Sr., 78, of Rockwall, died Sunday, Oct. 2.

A private family memorial service is planned for the future.

Mr. Stansbury served in the United States Air Force and worked as an electronic technician and retired from civil service in 1997.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alex and Junie Stansbury; a brother, Tony; and two grandchildren, Jerry Reagan and Egyption Stansbury.

Survivors include his wife, Virginia; five sons, Jimmy Jr. and Jeff, both of Iowa Park, Jerry of Rockwall, Jason of Paso Robles, CA., and Justin of KY.; a daughter, Kimberly Neal of Dover, DE.; two stepdaughters, Carolyn Abul-Haj and Michelle Miles of Ventura, CA.; a brother, Jerry of Wichita Falls; a sister, Patty Kieren of Benbrook; 23 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
