Kathleen Partney Hicks passed away Oct. 12 in Abilene.

Services were held Oct. 15 in Hawley, and burial was at Roby.

Kathleen was born Feb. 4, 1929 in Newcastle. She grew up in Iowa Park and graduated W.F George High School in 1946.

She was preceded in death by her husband, L.H. Hicks; mother, Cora Lee Partney; brothers, Travis and Troy Partney; and sister, Bobbie Huckaby.

Survivors include her daughter, Mary Lee Vinson of Hawley, father, W.G. Partney of Wichita Falls; two sisters, Virginia Banks of Wichita Falls and Joye Robertson of Iowa Park; two grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
