Sue Carol Cook

IOWA PARK – Sue Carol Ewing Cook, age 75, former resident of Iowa Park, died Wednesday, October 20, 2010 in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Funeral services were at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, October 23, 2010 at First United Methodist Church of Iowa Park with Dr. Jon Eckstein, pastor, officiating. Burialwas at Highland Cemetery under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home.

Sue was born June 14, 1935 in Borger, Texas to Earl C. and Emogene Hanna Ewing. She graduated from high school in Ranger, Texas. She and Donald Cook were married July 31, 1953 in Ranger, Texas. She lived most of her life in the Wichita Falls area. She lived in Houston, Texas from 1983 until 2004, when she returned to Wichita Falls. She was a homemaker and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Iowa Park.

Her parents and brother, Jim Ewing, preceded her in death.

Sue is survived by her husband, Donald of Wichita Falls; children, Steve Cook and wife, Teri of Spring, Texas; Donna Williams and husband, Curtis of Iowa Park, Texas; grandchildren; Lauren Cook, Jennifer Klein, Dustin Williams, Jeremy Williams and Troy Williams; great grandsons, Rody Williams and Aiden Williams; sister, Bettye Cross of Sweetwater, Texas; mother-in-law, Morean Cook of Graham, Texas and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials are suggested to the First United Methodist Church of Iowa Park, Texas.
