Bobby Joe Tuggle
1927 - 2015

Bobby Joe Tuggle, 88, of Wichita Falls, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 13.

Funeral services were held Friday in the chapel of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home with Martin Beck and Bryan Armstrong, officiating.

Interment followed at Byers Riverside Cemetery.

Bobby was born on Oct. 5, 1927, in Knox County, to the late Benjamin Cleveland and Leoma (Calloway) Tuggle. He served in the United States Army during World War II, Korea, and two tours in Vietnam, retiring after 23 years. On Dec. 31, 1981, he married Nelda Faye Odom. He was a member of the American Legion Post 169 and the VFW Post 51 in Munday.

Survivors include his wife, Nelda Hogue Tuggle of Wichita Falls; his children, Robert Tuggle of Wenotchee, WA., Brenda Armstrong, Sheri Hogue, and Mark Hogue, all of Wichita Falls, and Anita McShan of Iowa Park; 14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
