Alma Claudia Schmacher Simek

Alma Claudia Schmacher Simek, 89, of Seymour died Friday, Oct. 19, in Seymour.
Funeral mass was celebrated Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Seymour, with Father Albert Kanjirathumkal and Deacon Jim Novak officiating.

Burial was held in Bomarton Cemetery, Bomarton.

A christian wake service was held Sunday at Owens and Brumley Funeral Home.
Ms. Simek was a homemaker.

Survivors include three sons, Patrick and Joe Simek, both of Lubbock, and Jimmy Simek of Seymour; five daughters, Kay Flippin of Seymour, Nancy Bauer of Iowa Park, Susan Davis of Bracketville, Mary Ress of Wichita Falls, and Laura Poindexter of Stephenville; a sister, Elsie Faber of Vernon; 23 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.

The family suggest memorials be made to Bomarton Perpetual Care Cemetery or the Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
