James A. Jurgensen
1961 - 2007
James A. Jurgensen, 46, died Friday, October 19, in Iowa Park.

Services were held Monday at Lamar Baptist Church of Wichita Falls with Rev. Mike Roberson, pastor, officiating. Burial was held at Crestview Memorial Park under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home.

Mr. Jurgenson was born April 3, 1961 in Wichita Falls to Arthur W. and Theresa Greene Jurgensen. He was a member of Lamar Baptist Church and a member of the Lamar Baptist Baseball and Basketball League. He also played baseball and was on the 1989 State Baseball Team. He was a member of both the Order of the Arrow and the Boy Scouts. He coached basketball and softball for various teams. He was an avid supporter of Harley Davidson motorcycles, Dallas Cowboys and Texas Longhorns. While in high school he was a member of the Hirschi Band. James was also a driver for Conway Freight Company.

He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur W. Jurgensen.

Survivors include his daughter, Summer of Wichita Falls; his fiancé and her daughter, Andrea and Bailey Pruett of Iowa Park; his mother, Theresa Jurgensen of Wichita Falls; two sisters, Judy Keesee of Wichita Falls, and Carla Barnett of Georgetown; and a brother, John Jurgensen of Wichita Falls.
