Frank Logan Webb, 88, died Friday, Oct. 19, in Wichita Falls.
Funeral services were held Monday at Dutton Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Charles Terry, Kamay Church of Christ, officiating. Graveside services were held at Quanah Memorial Park, Quanah, under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home.
Mr. Webb was born August 6, 1919, in Quanah, and was a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard, and was a member of the Disabled American Veterans. He worked as an auditor for federal savings and loans and later became vice president and president of Parker Square Savings and Loan of Wichita Falls. He retired and entered ranching and raising cattle. He later opened The Karpet Shoppe, retiring in 1978. He was a 50-year resident of Kamay, and attended Kamay Church of Christ. He and Mona James “Jimmie” Adams were married March 12, 1944, in Crowell.
Survivors include his wife, Mona James “Jimmie” of Electra; a daughter, Gail Tucker of Kamay; a son, Gary of Kamay; a sister, Eureka Scarbrough of Quanah; and two grandchildren.
The family suggest memorials be made to Tipton’s Childrens Home, Tipton, OK.
