Joyce Huggins Hinchliffe died Oct. 20 in Huddersfield, England.

Services were held Oct. 28 at St. John’s Parish Church, Lepton, Huddersfield, England, where she is buried.

Joyce was born Feb. 27,1940, in Lubbock. She was the daughter of the late Clifford and Neida Cantrell Huggins of Wichita Falls. She graduated Wichita Falls High School in 1958 and Midwestern University in 1962. She taught Spanish and English at Rider High School and also taught in Nairobi, Kenya, and Huddersfield. She enjoyed service to others, photography, travel, and reading to children.

She was married 45 years to Peter Hinchliffe, former reporter for the Wichita Falls Times.

She is survived by her husba nd; two sons, David of Koh Chang, Thailand, and Ben of Glasgow, Scotland; a sister, Lita Watson of Iowa Park; two nieces and two nephews.
