Stella Nava Eavenson
1953 - 2007
Stella Nava Eavenson, 54, died Tuesday, Oct. 30, in Wichita Falls.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Sullivan Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. John Hare, Brandon Nava, and Will Parker officiating. Interment will be at Eastview Cemetery under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. this evening at Sullivan Funeral Home.

Ms. Eavenson was born September 21, 1953, in Vernon, to Joe and Edna McCurly Nava. She had been a lifelong resident of Vernon until moving to Iowa Park in 2005.

She graduated Vernon High School in 1972, and Vernon College in 1978, with a LVN degree. She retired from nursing after 25 years, having worked and retired from Dr. Rosario Carreon’s office after 15 years. She enjoyed softball and was a baptist.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Jimmy and Frank Nava.

Survivors include a daughter, Holly Lehman of Iowa Park; three sisters, Beaulah Rodriquez of Vernon, Beatrice Tole of Wichita Falls, and Thelma Jackson of Weatherford; six brothers, Bobby, Julian, Kenneth and Delmer, all of vernon, Billy Joe of Mesquite, and Ricky of Perkins, OK.; and a granddaughter.

The family suggest memorials be made to Wilbarger General Hospital Auxiliary, Boys and Girls Club in Vernon, or Park Home Health in Iowa Park.
