Robert "Bob" Goad
Robert “Bob” Goad, 50, of Burkburnett, died Friday, Oct. 26, at his residence.

Memorial services were held Monday in the chapel of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home in Burkburnett with Jon Mark Fowler, chaplain, American Hospice, officiating.

Mr. Goad was born December 18, 1956, in Virginia to Harry and Florence Goad. He was a 1975 graduate of Burkburnett High School. He and Lily Mims were married October 18, 1975. He worked for PPG 27 years, through production and maintenance. He worked with the Children’s Soccer Program, starting as an assistant coach in 1988. He later coached, and was the local Burkburnett coordinator, and manager of a Wichita Falls competitive team.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Lori Mullins of Burkburnett; a son, Robert Jr. of Burkburnett; his mother, Florence of Burkburnett; two brothers, Steve of Iowa Park, and David of Wylie; a sister, Heather of Austin; and three grandchildren.
