Thelma E. Wakefield-Davis, 91, died Sunday, Oct. 28, in Wichita Falls.
Services will be held at 3 p.m. today at Christ Gospel Church with Rev. Ken Matthews officiating. Burial is to be held in Bowman Cemetery.
Mrs. Wakefield-Davis was born April 6, 1916, in Provo, AR., to Joe and Virgie (Goad) Lee. She was a Pentecostal preacher for 30 years, and later a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents; by two husbands, Homer Wakefield, and Duell Davis, Sr.; a son, Clint Wakefield; and step-son, Joe Davis, Jr.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary Travis of Wichita Falls, and Barbara Sackett of Pampa; two sons, James Wakefield of Wichita Falls, and Thomas Wakefield of Iowa Park; two step-sisters, Ruth Sellers and Maudine Fudge, both of Wichita Falls; a half-brother, J.L. Ferguson; 14 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and 17 great-great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be made to American Hospice or Grace Care Center.
