Juanita Toney
1922 - 2011

Juanita Toney, 88, died Friday, Oct. 28, at home in Wichita Falls.

Funeral services were held Monday at the chapel of Owens and Brumley Funeral Home with Rev. James McCurley of Haskell First Baptist Church officiating. Interment was held in Crestview Memorial Park.

Mrs. Toney was born Nov. 13, 1922, in Good Creek Community in Foard County, to the late Annie Sally (Cantrell) and Hezekiah Black. She and Thomas Toney were married Feb. 13, 1942, in Wichita Falls. She was a homemaker and a member of West Side Baptist Church. She had lived most of her life in Wichita Falls.

She was also preceded in death by her husband.

Survivors include two sons, Larry and Thomas R., both of Wichita Falls; a daughter, Treva Lowe of Wichita Falls; two sisters, Winona Moer of Iowa Park, and Barbara Rutledge of Burkburnett; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
