Billy Keith ‘Bush’ Rusk
Billy Keith ‘Bush’ Rusk, age 51, died Friday, November 2, 2007 in Iowa Park, Texas.

Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, November 6, 2007 at Lakeview Church of God with Rev. Ted Gray, Rev. Ole Olds and Joe Howard Williamson officiating. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home.

Bush was born September 19, 1956 in Wichita Falls, Texas to G.R. “Rusty” and Charlene (Catlin) Rusk. He and Sherri have shared eighteen wonderful years together. Bush was a successful entrepreneur in the North Texas area. Bush built five convenient stores, two of which he ran and gained many wonderful friends. After he sold his last store at the intersection of Kemp and Kell he returned to his roots in the oilfield. He has become a well known independent oil producer in Wichita County.

Bush was known by many as a hardworking, big hearted, driven man. His nine grandkids were the apple of his eye and they loved their “Paw”. He was also a very giving and caring person, doing good deeds for many. He was in the time of his life where he was beginning to enjoy what he has worked so hard for. He loved playing golf with his Sunday crew and going to the deer lease with his friends. When he was not working he loved spending time at his vacation home with his family and friends in Ruidoso, New Mexico. His favorite pastime was playing practical jokes on his friends and family. He will be dearly missed by all.

He is survived by his wife, Sherri; children, Sandy Lalk and husband Trevor, Sally Harlow and husband Josh, Justin Rusk and wife April, and Bryer Rusk; his step children, Zach and Ashlee Marston; parents, G.R. (Rusty) and Charlene (Catlin) Rusk; brother, Gary Rusk and wife, Brenda; very special cousins, Randy Catlin and Tami Ligon; nine grandchildren, Cassidy, Reid, Chi Rae and Caty Lalk, Colter and Cade Harlow, Justi, Tegan and Jazz Rusk; five nephews and two nieces. Bush was preceded in death by his sister, Judy Haggart, granddaughter, Zoey Harlow, grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Catlin, Mr. and Mrs. C. Rusk and an uncle, Carl (Buddy) Catlin.

The family will receive friends at their residence at 521 W. Clara Street, Iowa Park, Texas.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Wichita Falls, 4909 Johnson Road, Wichita Falls, Texas 76310.
