Pearl R. Elms
1924 - 2016

Pearl R. Elms, 92, passed away Thursday, Nov. 3, in Wichita Falls.

Funeral services were held Monday in the chapel at Dutton Funeral Home with Rev. Philip Shelley officiating.

Graveside services followed at the Highland Cemetery Pavilion.

Pearl was born Sept. 5, 1924, in Macon, GA., to Samuel Patton and Clara Mae (Sessions) Arnold. She married Randle David Elms, Sr. on July 10, 1943, in Macon. She was a member of First Assembly of God in Wichita Falls, where she was involved in several ministries, including nursery, Rainbow Girls program, and donated so that children could attend church camps.

She is preceded in death by parents; husband, Randle David Elms, Sr.; and daughter, Martha B. Haney.

Survivors include her children, Randle David Elms, Jr. of College Station, Mary Halady of Iowa Park, Mae Shelley of Wichita Falls, and James Elms of Lakeside City; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
