Nettie Jo Nichols, 75, passed away Thursday, Nov. 6, in Wichita Falls.

Graveside services were held Saturday at Crestview memorial Park with Gil Peters, officiating.

A daughter of the late Albert and Mary (Wilburn) Lennington, she was born Aug. 29, 1933, in Graham. She held a master’s degree in education, and a master’s degree in counseling, from Texas Women’s University. She retired after 25 years of teaching special education. She was a member of the Eagles Lodge No. 4128. She enjoyed playing the piano, playing cards, fishing, and spending time with her family.
She was also preceded in death by a sister, Claudia Jay.

Survivors include her husband, W.T. “Nick” Nichols of Iowa Park; two daughters, Rhonda Widlake of Graham, and Fran Sanchez-Leal of Wichita Falls; a sister, Delores Cox of Tyler; four granddaughters; and three great-grandchildren.
