Richard Louis Wills, 63, died Sunday, November 18, at an Abilene hospital.

Services were held Tuesday, at Bethel Baptist Church with Dr. Arlie Hoover and Harold Barnes officiating.

Burial was held in Bethel Cemetery, directed by Lawrence-Adams Funeral Home.

Mr. Wills was born May 4, 1944 in Stamford, to Harvey (Biggon) and Lorene (Spitzer) Wills. He graduated from Lueders High School and married Marie Ada Crawford June 9, 1962 in Halfway. He retired from the City of Abilene after 23 years and was a farmer. He was member of the Nugent Church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Milton Wills.

Survivors include his wife, Marie Ada Wills of Lueders; a son, Richard Wills, Jr. of Iowa Park; two daughters, Letitia Smith of Kamay, and Pamela Strout of Humble; nine grandchildren; and one great grandson.
