Clovis Mer-rell “ C. M. “ Carroll
1930 - 2014

Clovis Mer-rell “ C. M. “ Carroll, 84, of Duncan, OK.. died Tuesday, Nov. 18, in Lawton.

A private burial will be at a later date.

He was born Oct. 1, 1930 to Elmer and Alma Lawlis Carroll in Harrold. He attended Harrold HIgh School and played football there. He enjoyed being outdoors, working with animals, and raising award winning rabbits. He was an American Rabbit Breeders Association judge for 45 years, judging shows all over the U.S. He worked as a welder most of his life.

He was preceded in death by: his parents, a son, Ray Carroll; a grandson, John Tyler; and great-granddaughter, Cynthia Tyler.

Survivors include his wife, Carol J. Carroll of the home; son, Ron Carroll of Iowa Park; daughter, Eva Tyler of Iowa Park; stepson, Larry Zimmerman, of Duncan, OK.; stepdaughter, Tami Morgan, of N. C.; sister, Norma Kupiec, of Denton; brother, Tommy Jeffrey of The Colony; 12 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorials be made to the Humane Society of your choice.
