Darrell Gresham

Darrell Gresham, 82, of Plainview, passed away Sunday, Nov. 27.
Funeral services were held Wednesday at Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel with Rev. Don Robertson officiating.
Burial was held in Parklawn Memorial Gardens.
Darrell was born Aug. 21, 1929, in Winters to Dan, Sr. and Ruby Gresham. He grew up in Winters and served in the United States Army from 1953-1955. After serving in the military, he worked in the oil fields. He moved to Plainview in 1958, where he and his brother owned Gresham Garage. In 1966 he went into partnership with Bob Raymer and opened Farm Service and Supply between Plainview and Edmonson. He retired in Feb. 2010. He and Ann Deaton were married Nov. 6, 2010, in Iowa Park.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma Gresham; his parents; a son, Richard; a brother, Dan Jr.; and a great-grandson, Gabriel Benson.
Survivors include his wife of Iowa Park; a son, Jim of San Angelo; two sisters, Sharron Reed of Cross Plains and Pricilla Hodge of Dallas; a stepson, Kevin Meinzer of Vernon; four grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
