Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, at Resthaven, with Pastor Eldon Reynolds officiating.

Ruby, the seventh of eight children, was born October 27, 1927, in Carlisle, Tx. (also known as Bush City) to the late James Washington and Ruby Pearl Bush.

She married the late Royce Neil White on January 1, 1953. She retired in 1984, after 34 years of service with Southwestern Bell Telephone Company.

Ruby was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Patricia, Dorothy, Loyce, and Juanita; brothers, John, Elmer, and Herman.

Surviving relatives include two daughters, Debbie Ridge of Breckenridge, Tx. and Robyn and her husband, Jim Webb of Iowa Park; four grandchildren, Shelley, Royce, Tori, and Kyler; and her best buddy, “Kramer”, her granddog.” Also, she was survived by many nieces and nephews, that loved her dearly and friends that she held close to her heart.

Our family would like to say a special “Thank You” to Hospice of Wichita Falls for their loving care of our mother, especially Dana Skinner, Shandra Underwood, and her private caregiver, Ashley Holland.

Also, a special thanks to “Meals on Wheels” from Friendly Door in Iowa Park whom she looked forward to visiting every day.

Ruby was an angel on earth and will be greatly missed by her daughters, son-in-law, and grandchildren who loved her dearly.
