James H. “Bud” Gilmore
1930 - 2017

James H. “Bud” Gilmore, 86, passed away on Friday, Dec. 1, in Iowa Park.

Funeral services were held Monday at Faith Baptist Church with Pastor Tim Franks and Norman Hodges officiating.

Graveside services followed at Highland Cemetery under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home.

Bud was born Dec. 3, 1930, in Iowa Park, to James Emanuel and Erma Mae (Beauchamp) Gilmore. He married Geraldine Gooselaw on July 2, 1960, at the First Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the US Navy and was a member of Faith Baptist Church where he was a Deacon. He enjoyed all types of music and was a collector of many things.

He is preceded by his parents.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Geraldine Gilmore of Iowa Park; daughter, Jamie Andrews of Iowa Park; a brother, Bill Gilmore of Iowa Park; a sister, Veneta Glasgow of Wichita Falls; and a granddaughter.

Memorials are suggested to Hospice of Wichita Falls.
