1940 - 2008

Robert Lee Johnson, 68, died Dec. 4, in Wichita Falls.

Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Dutton Funeral Home Chapel with full Military Honors from Sheppard Air Force Base. Arrangements are under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home.

Mr. Johnson was born September 28, 1940 in Kenly, North Carolina to Horace and Percy Johnson. He was a retired MSgt serving in Logistics, of the US Air Force. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Electra Chapter. He and Cheryl Leath were married on Nov. 4, 2006 at Mulberry Community. He had been a resident of Iowa Park one year, moving from Electra, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and three brothers, Raymond, Clinton and Horace.

Survivors include his wife, Cheryl of Iowa Park; two daughters, Susan Hellwig of Waikoloa, Hawaii and Sandra Johnson of Centennial, CO.; two sisters, Peggy Herrman of Kenly, N. C. and Lorene Pridgen of Loganville, GA; and two granddaughters.
