Arron Lynn Fulfer

Arron Lynn Fulfer, 46, much-loved husband, Dad, Papa and friend, died Monday, December 13, 2010 in Iowa Park.

He was a lifetime resident of Iowa Park.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, December 16, 2010 at Faith Baptist Church of Iowa Park, with Rev. Dennis Neal officiating. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home.

Lynn was born October 2, 1964 in Wichita Falls, Texas to William Herman “Sonny” and Sharron Ann Moore Fulfer.

Lynn married the love of his life, Teresa Smith, January 4, 1985 in Iowa Park.

Lynn was a 1983 graduate of Iowa Park High School, where he was a running back and defensive back on the Iowa Park Hawk football team. He was an avid supporter of Hawk athletics through the years, and was a fixture on the sidelines at home football games as a member of the chain crew through 2008. He was a Hawk at heart.

He was a member of Faith Baptist Church and the Oil and Gas Association.

He was the owner/operator of Fulfer Well Service Company. Lynn took pride in teaching his profession to his son, Jeremy, who will continue the family business; his nephews and countless other young men in Iowa Park.

Lynn’s greatest love was for his family and much of his time was spent with Teresa, his children and his granddaughters. He also enjoyed his famous practical jokes, and his garden, where he grew fresh vegetables for family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Sharron Ann Fulfer.

His survivors include his wife, Teresa of the home; children, Jeremy Fulfer and wife, Jami of Iowa Park; Malorie Hodges and husband, Heath of Iowa Park; grandchildren, Madison, Ashdyn and Ava; father, William Herman “Sonny” of Wichita Falls; siblings, Brian Fulfer and wife, Cindy of Iowa Park; and Kim French and husband, Darrin of Wichita Falls; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Lynn loved and cherished his family and friends dearly, and will be remembered for his generosity and mischievous grin.

The family suggests memorials to Faith Baptist Church Building Fund, 411 S. Wall St. Iowa Park, Texas.
