Audrey Beatrice "Bunnie" Flaherty

Audrey Beatrice “Bunnie” Flaherty, 84, of Wichita Falls, died Friday, Dec. 14.

Graveside services were held Monday at Crestview Memorial Park with Gill Peters, officiating.

Mrs. Flaherty was born July 29, 1923 to the late Jesse Terrel and Sarah Alice (McDougal) McCord, in Jacksboro. She and Martin P. Flaherty were married July 22, 1972. He precedde her in death in 1995.

She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Cecil McCord and Edward McCord; and a sister, Florine Reeves.

Survivors include two sons, Gerald “Butch” Ladd of Iowa Park, and Charles Ladd of Bedford; two daughters, Shirley Anderson of Breckenridge, and Brenda Simpson of Wichita Falls; a sister, Ruby Lester of Clyde; 15 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

The family suggest memorial be made to the American Heart Association.
