Bobbie K. Shaw, 83, passed away Friday, Dec. 16, in Lawton, OK.
Services were held Monday at Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Don Crittendon, pastor of Paradise Valley Baptist Church, officiating.
Mrs. Shaw was born Feb. 16, 1928, in Stephens County, OK., to William Clarence and Alma Maybelle Hoodenpyle Ketchum. She grew up in Stephens County and later moved to Lawton, OK., where she graduated Lawton High School. She and Luther Flavous Shaw were married in October 1945, in Oklahoma City. The couple owned Shaw Motor Company of Iowa Park 35 years. She served as the accountant for their businesses. She was an active member of ESA, Epsilon Sigma Alpha Sorority. She was a member for over 50 years, and held all chapter, district and state level offices, serving as 1996-97 state president. In the early 1980’s she served on the Library Committee for Iowa Park and was instrumental in remodeling and creating a new library facility from the historic home donated by Mrs. Burnett. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Iowa Park.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three children, Larry Franklin, Patricia Ann and Luke, Jr.; and two brothers, Johnnie Ketchum and Larry David Ketchum.
She is survived by a son, Jeffery William of Wichita Falls; and a sister, Wynell McKenzie.
