Lorene Brown, 85, died Wednesday, December 26, in Wichita Falls.

Services will be 1 p.m. Friday, December 28, at Dutton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Reed of Burkburnett and Rev. John Hare of Iowa Park officiating.

Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home.
Mrs. Brown was born July 31, 1922 in Quitaque, to John and Esther McAlester Wolf. She and Chester Brown were married February 26, 1938 in Big Spring. She had lived in the Iowa Park area for 57 years. She was a homemaker and a Methodist.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and five brothers, William, Charlie, Buren, John and Calvin Wolf and a sister, Francis Self.

Survivors include a daughter, Glenda Stevens of Iowa Park; two sons, Lindsey of Iowa Park and Jerry of Randlett, OK.; four sisters, Edna Ray of Runaway Bay, Patsy Burke of Wichita Falls, Wilma Walker Helen Davis of Big Spring and Wanda Wilson of Lamesa; two brothers Lloyd Wolf of Sweetwater and Burel Wolf of Lancaster; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be made to Friendly Door Senior Citizens, 810 North 3rd. Street, Iowa Park, Texas 76367.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. today at Dutton Funeral Home.
