Ruby Braden Leo
Ruby Braden Leo, 97, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 21, in Iowa Park.
Funeral services were held Friday in the chapel at Dutton Funeral Home with Rev. Earl Correl, pastor Northside Baptist Church, and Orlin Reynolds officiating.
Graveside services followed at the Randlett Cemetery in Randlett, OK.
Ruby was born May 1, 1914, in Randlett to Samuel and Effie (Peacock) Braden. She married Ralph Leo in St. Louis, MO., in the late 1940’s and lived in the Wichita Falls area all of her life. She was a member of Highland Heights Baptist Church and was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time cooking, crocheting, gardening, and being involved in her church.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; five brothers, Albert, Ray F., Roy, Manuel, and Sam Braden; and three sisters, Dorothy Braden, Ethel Nichols, and Alta Mae Braden.
Survivors include her sister, Betty Jo Braden of Iowa Park.
The family suggest memorials be made to the Friendly Door Senior Citizens, 810 North 3rd St. Iowa Park, TX 76367 or to the Randlett Cemetery Association.
