Monument pin questioned
Someone staked and located another city monument pin on the southwest corner of Block 48, so when this non-surveyor measured from this monument to Block 49 monument on the southwest corner it was approximately 375 feet which makes Block 48 to be 300 feet plus 75 feet for Texowa Street between the two city monument pins. If the surveyors did not use the monument pins then they are wrong on Lot 1, 2, and 12 of Block 48 and in my opinion the only way they could not use the monument pins is if the city council had an ordinance to the fact (do they?).
