Work on FishFest appreciated ...
Dear Bob and Dolores,

I wanted to express my appreciation to the Leader for all the coverage of Fish Fest last Saturday and all of the coverage prior to the event too; Kevin was shooting pictures throughout the event of many youngsters fishing and catching fish at Gordon Lake. A special and sincere thanks goes to the City Council, City Manager, Public Works Director and Economic Development Director for a well organized and well attended Fishing Event Saturday at Gordon Lake. Mike Price and his staff do a tremendous job supporting and promoting our community through this event. It is always great to see the lasting effects of Fish Fest throughout the upcoming weeks, as youngsters and adults alike enjoy fishing at our beautiful lake. The park and track are something we are all proud of and this year for the event, we enjoyed another quality addition to the lake, Rotary Pavilion.

We are very fortunate to have dedicated and involved community leaders willing to spend their time providing such tremendous “Quality of Life” projects for our City.
